Adesina Oluwakemisola
Adéṣínà, Olúwakẹ́misọ́lá Bọ́ládé PhD, was born in Iju, Akure North Local Government of Ondo State Nigeria to Chief Dare Fagbuyiro. She was educated at Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School and at the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria. As an educationist, she loves teaching and owns an elementary institution. ‘Kẹ́misọ́lá is a lecturer at Lead City University and a trained e-tutor with the Distance Learning Centre of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Her researches focus on cultural pragmatics, semiotic study and discourse analysis. She writes children’s devotionals and instructional materials to her credit.
Few of her publications include: Explicature and Implicature in Selected ABCDERIAN Yoruba Poetry, Indigenous Practices as Instructional Tools in Adjudicatory Proceedings of Juvenile Courts in S/W Nigeria and Pragmatics of Alternative Corrective Models in selected Juvenile Courts in the Yoruba Society. She is a member of the English Scholars Association of Nigeria (ESAN), the Pragmatics Association of Nigeria (PrAN), African Association for Japanese Studies (AAJS) and the African Pragmatics Association (APrA). She teaches grammar and discourse at the university and has contributed to both local and international scholarly journals.
